Elite Athlete Workouts: Michael Phelps

So the Olympics are finally underway, and I thought this mini-documentary about Michael Phelps'  (a multi-gold winning swimming athlete) training regiment was appropriate to post. It covers his workouts, ethics and even the training clothes he wears.

Saudi Ray William Johnson

I don't know if you're familiar with Ray William Johnson, but he's probably one of the most famous youtubers out there. He basically reviews videos and comments on them and gets millions of views and hits. 

I like to think of Bader, who stars in 'Eysh Elly", as being the Saudi version. What makes this channel unique is that all the team and hosts are Saudi, and the content reviewed is mainly from the Middle East and they touch on other topics that happen in our everyday lives. It's been created with high quality and a great sense of humour.. and again its 5aleeji which makes it more relatable.

Fursa Pre-Ramadhan Event

Yesterday the duo attended Fursa to check out their ramadhan dara'as and beautiful shop. I completely fell in love with the concept! it's a place for local or regional youths to showcase their work whether it be clothing, paintings, accessories, or home decor. There were three rooms each with a specific theme which were: the vintage room, concept room, and haute couture room.
Overall, it was a great experience and a wonderful place. I urge everyone to go visit!

Concept room: with a funky interior this is room is filled with eclectic art, apparel, and home decor pieces.

Vintage room: this room is designed to give an old school vibe with is aided with the beautiful vintage clothes it holds.

Haute couture room: delicate flowers and golden cages are the trademark of this room. It carries night gowns and delicate dresses.

Fursa is located opposite The One, Marina Mall, near Breakfast and Brunch

Frank Ocean Sings "Allahu Akbar" on Fallon

So Frank Ocean recently finished his debut album "Channel Orange" and performed "Bad Religion" a few nights ago on Jimmy Fallon. The lyrics are down bellow, but I think he tends to contradict himself in this particular song. Quiet frankly, I don't know what to think of it, I suppose its depends on how you interpret the lyrics. 

But in general, involving religious aspects in music, especially when you're not of that particular faith is a no-no to me.

The view at night was breathtaking. Although it was really crowded, once inside the Skydeck you had an amazing view of Chicago.
Definitely recommended.

iClooly: iPhone Stand

There's no doubt that the iPhone, iPad and iPod have created a new, innovative market with accessories galore. There are too many covers and holders for your Apple products to count. 

I came across iClooly, and this product in particular really caught my eye. When you think about it, when was the last time you held a receiver up to your ear? The design of the phone reflects that of the iPhone, simple and clean-cut.
